Infrastructure Solutions (IS) has prepared detailed designs to upgrade the existing Transfer Station at Myrtleford. The upgrade design will allow the site to better manager leachate generated in the facility via the waste baling and wrapping process. The waste baling facility is the only one of its type in Regional Victoria. The design has also improved access into the baling area and will allow for future expansion of the facility.
IS is also undertaking geotechnical testing and detailed design for Cell 2 at the landfill. The landfill cell desing includes liner systems, leachate drainage provisions and rehabilitation cap design. The design work will also include technical specifications and the construction quality assurance plan which needs to be approved by EPA Victoria.
