Today saw the official opening of the Murchison Transfer Station. Infrastructure Solutions worked closely with the Greater Shepparton City Council and was responsible for the design of the new facility.
The transfer station will undertake the following waste operations:

• 2 x 31 cubic metre bins for inert hardwaste and putrescible waste for transfer to Cosgrove Landfill
• 31 cubic metre bin area for recycling of steel
• 3 cubic metre bins for comingled recycling and cardboard to be recycled
• Oil collection shed compliant with regulations to be recycled
• Tyres to be recycled
• Greenwaste for mulching and reuse by the community
• A reuse sales shed.
